A few years ago the police in Atlanta removed the two-month old lion, tiger and bear from a narcotic’s dealer who kept them as a status symbol.
After they rescued them, they were taken to the “Noah’s Chest” Animal Sanctuary, where their workers decided not to separate the little ones.
They named the bear BALU, the tiger SIR KAN and the lion LEO. They continued to live together, and are still living so, after eight years.
The employees at the Center say it is magical and unbelievable when the huge bear hugs the tiger and lion and they, in turn, rub the bear with their muzzles, closing their eyes in ecstasy, like domestic cats do.
